Lookin' for a La Cruz?

I can hardly believe it myself, but I've got to raise some funds for parts for the Big Mama, so I'm going to release my beloved La Cruz frameset to a good home. This is a Salsa 55cm, which is a sloping TT frame, so it fits a rider that would ride a traditional 58cm (level top tube) frame. I'm 6' 1" tall, with a 33-inch inseam and it fits me like a glove.

Please note, I'm selling frame with fork only. No stem, seatpost or any other parts. Please get a hold of me through the blog or on the phone (402.314.2150) if interested.

Thanks, and have a great weekend.

Cheers,
MG

Holy cow. I'd be all over it, but I think its a little big for me. My El Mar is a Med, I'm about 5'11" w/ 31 inseam.

That would be perfect for me. Hmmmmm.

I have an El Mar and this very size La Cruz. I am 6 feet and have a short 31" inseam. It is perfect for me. But beyond this I love my La Cruz. I don't know if it is the frame or the parts and wheels that came with my complete La Cruz but this bike accelerates great. I jump on the pedals and it jumps forward looking for more gears. Wonderful.

Thanks guys. Millhouse, I think you'd be right at the line as far as fitting on a 55cm frame. You likely could do it, but you're probably right -- a 53 would likely be better.

Jason, let me know if you're interested. Whoever takes it will get a great deal. $350 for the frame and fork, plus shipping if necessary.

You know, the La Cruz is a phenomenal frameset. It's just kind of the odd bike out for me right now, since I've got a Chili Con Crosso, two El Mariachis and a Fargo already built. It just is too close to too many of those bikes to get ridden much in my stable. It needs to go to someone who will use it... appreciate it. I love that bike.

Thanks again guys,
MG

Update, Wednesday, March 25: There are several people interested in the frameset but no firm takers yet. Give me a shout (402.314.2150, dirtstories@gmail.com) if you're interested in learning more, would like to receive more pictures, or would simply like to buy a great frameset.

Thanks,
MG

Thanks Steve.

BTW -- Steve has just committed to purchasing this beautiful frameset, so I've taken it off of the market. Thank you to everyone who contacted me with questions or to express interest.

Have a great weekend!
