In the Field of the DK200...

The time to register for the 2008 Dirty Kanza 200 mile gravel road grinder is upon us. Online registration opened up Wednesday morning at 7am CST, and though pre-registration for races is against my nature, I went ahead and registered right away.

After getting shut out of the Trans Iowa registration for waiting too long, I didn't want to snooze and lose out on one of the 75 entries for this year's DK200. If you're keen for an awesome adventure in the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas, I suggest you don't wait to register either.

I'm off to ski with MW and Butch. I know -- we're insane. It's zero... Oh well. It'll be fun.

Cheers,
MG

Sweet. I'll be there at the start in Iowa too, whether I'm on the official roster or not. I know you've got me on the waiting list for a spot. I bet it'll open up as we get closer to the date of the ride.

It's gonna' be a fun season. Lookin' forward to seeing you at the races Mark.

Cheers,
MG
