Thanks Cornbread -- I like commuting by bike...

Selected images from my commutes in the past three days...

Rain today? Who knows... If you've got the time, hit the Monkey Wrench ride tonight. 6:15 at the 'Wrench. I've got an overflowing 'honey do' list, so I'm gonna' have to miss the action tonight, but my legs are pretty thrashed anyway.

The park is in good shape -- I hit it with MW, Butchie, Cornbread, Z-Dogg, Avey and Damon last night and we all had a rippin' good time. Look out for assorted branches in the trail though. They can take a wheel out pretty fast...

Have fun tonight!

BTW - If you choose to hit the park, the hot setup is the east-side trail to 14th. Somebody has mowed a few of the most overgrown spots, so it's not as bad as it had been a few days ago.

The trail to the EP bridge is dry too, but it's more overgrown. No mower out there as of last night.

Have fun!

hey just in case you do not go back and read my response. you are NOT the weakest link in my personal little mind game about the first beer, you were just the guy who took the bullet. :)
I love this commuting stuff too.

I think I'm doing this commuting challenge all wrong. I commute and then I give myself beer.

Actually, I think I'm doing just fine.

... that sounds perfect to me gravy. Beer is good, and I think it's fun to buy beer for friends. I might even buy a round when I don't even have to... imagine that!

CVO -- we're on for Crowder. Not sure yet if we'll take the Subie or the Si, but we'll get there one way or another. It'll be fun. I like Crowder a lot.

Those pics rock.

Sorry to hear about the tire issue at Crowder. At least you had a chance to ride later.

Thanks Cornbread. Crowder was a little disappointing, but it was fun to get to ride with CVO for his last lap and a half.

And yesterday's ride to Platte was awesome. The headwind on the way home wasn't nearly as bad as I'd been thinking it was going to be... a nice surprise.

Cheers,
MG
