Pics from Sunday's Ride...

MW navigates. Butch fixes a flat. MG lays in the grass, snapping pics...

MW, over my shoulder. Image snapped Conrad-style...

Looks like another great day in the saddle... and it is.

An on-the-go look at the very nice welds holding the front of my El Mariachi together. Beautiful... That pink Soulcraft MW is riding up ahead showcases some amazing torchwork too. Steel bikes rock.

Here's some shots from our ride Sunday, to Platte River SP to meet JP for some trail building. After doing some good work on the partial 001 reroute, MW split off and rode to Bellevue, leaving Butchie and I to push our one-gear steeds into a steady 15-18 mph West wind almost the entire way home. Did I mention da-Butchie was on a FIXIE?! It was pretty impressive that he had the fortitude to stick it out. That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right?

I felt pretty lucky to at least be able to coast from time to time...

Despite the killer headwind on the way home, it was an absolutely fantastic day to ride a bike, and the dirt at Platte was primo for trail work too. All in all, I ended up with a big smile on my face, and some shelled-out legs too!

Cheers,
MG
