More HFF memories -- the "stairs" downhill...

This was the toughest "challenge" at the HFF -- a very steep dh comprised of decaying railroad tie steps. at the bottom was a super sketchy runout chute. Luckily, Cornbread caught me riding it. Turn the sound up too -- the commentary and cheering are sweet. Talk about goosebumps!

It was a great way to inaugurate my 34th year on earth.

For perspective, here is a shot of the downhill from the top. It was steep! Pablo woulda' been proud...

That looks like a perfectly ridiculous way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I'd like to see that for myself sometime.

perfectly ridiculous... that's a good way to describe it. i was filthy, exhausted and ecstatic at the end of the ride.
