From your description, HFF reminds me of a ride that I did in KC years ago with Chad. We left from his house near the projects and just connected ghetto singletracks all over town. It was super fun.

hff was crazy. i've never seen anything like it -- like three times the size of our lincoln beer ride on its absolute best year. the actual amount of singletrack was relatively small, but what we did ride was super sweet.
