One jump, two perspectives -- courtesy of JSP and Anne S.

... and Anne's perspective -- the "headless horseman" -- my Grandma would be proud ;-)

Got an email from John Peterson this morning. He's posted his images from Swanson up on the Nebraska Cycling News website, and the first image above is one of 'em. There are a bunch of shots up there of all the racers who participated, so if you were there and you were racin', there's probably shots of you up there. Czech 'em out!

I believe this is likely the same jump/lap as Anne's shot that MOD posted on MTBOmaha, but from a different angle.

While overall I tried to keep myself focused on simply going fast, when a bunch of cameras are poised around a nice kicker, I can't resist the temptation to throw one down... it's like a dog barking when a car drives by -- just pure instinct.

And that's but one of the reasons I love riding bikes. Have a great day.

yeah i couldn't believe how great john's shot turned out. he was placed perfectly, and the fill flash he used did a good job of pulling me out of the shadows. it's still a little dark, but that's nothing a little photoshop couldn't cure.

just think of the jumps i'll be doing on the spider when it comes in... can you call jeff steber and ask him if that stealth large they're showing at interbike is my actual frame? could you have him overnight it to me monday when the show's done?

thanks dude. i appreciate it. ;-)

whatever steve -- you've got the skills. i've seen it. perhaps you've forgotten that i followed you for at least half of wilderness park last tuesday night, so i got to see 'em firsthand.

have a great weekend.
