Salsa did NOT need to make this! MUST. CONTROL. LUST. I love that red but sorry there's no green.

Now I just hope Jason and the crew don't pull out any lust worthy surprises at Interbike or I'm gonna need to sell my car.

p.s. Congrats on the 12 hour win.

lol... i'll miss the green too. it's been a couple of years since i've been lucky enough to have a red bike though. i like a lot of colors, but red is by far my favorite color for a bike frame.

so yeah, i'm right there with ya' brother. hopefully i'll be lucky enough to get one of the new frames.

it'll be interesting to see what they end up taking to interbike...

thanks jason,
mg

I read a back issue of adventure cycling last night and a couple rode 18,000 miles on an Ala' Carte made by Salsa Cycles.

I was impressed. That's one of my favorites from Salsa.

thanks butchie. the ala carte is by far the best known, and best selling mountain bike frame salsa's ever produced. the new el mariachi is essentially a 29-inch ala carte... tradition and progression in one bike.

i saw more salsa bikes at the 24 hours of iowa this past weekend than i've ever seen at any other single event. it was incredible. ala cartes, moto rapidos, dos niners... it was a veritable salsa cycles party!

Actually, the Salsa party is next Tuesday MWR. I'll be sporting my new La Cruz or my new El Mariachi.

I would think with the developement in the 29er rim field from salsa and others that a 29er would excede what was done performance wise on a like tour.(i.e. wheel strength) Very progressive...
