I tried to catch up with my buddies over on Brian Kirk's "Stone Cold Lampin'" site, and found that I was not allowed into the site. I hadn't been invited.
One question: WTF?!
I thought we were friends...
Aug. 6 update -- Looks like Stone Cold is back in action, in full view of the public. Thanks Bdiddy! It's good to be able to check-in on my GBs, since I don't get to see y'all nearly enough!
Cheers,
MG

MG, you must have mossed this: Hey everybody I have invited butch over to post on the lamp. I was hoping to send out a few more invites but need some help with emails. If anyone has an email for Shouse, Todd Hansen, and MG please send them over to me.
Thanks

Bdiddy's the man with the keys to the site, shoot him a message!
He's not trying to exclude friends, just internet stalkers.
hmmm, the only reason I read is so that some day,
I can stalk him, find out where he's riding, sneak into his house, and short sheet his bed, and siran wrap his toilet, beef boulian cube in his shower head, creem cheeze his deoderant... maybe put a beebee in his handlebar, and shave a mo-hawk into his dog...
kobe would look cool with a mohawk...
i'm never gonna be let back in
patience young grasshopper. i just got to minneapolis in time for the I35-West bridge collapse. Luckily we got off I35 right before the bridge that collapsed. crazy...
i just haven't had a chance to email bdiddy. we'll get back in. they don't hate us. they're just paranoid about lurkers... not sure why.
i must not have the same lurkers they have...
does anyone besides cvo and I even read this? Who's the lurker, me or him?
both of you...
don't worry. i appreciate having at least two regular readers. it's down one from my all time high of three readers, but still isn't too bad...
cheers from beautiful minnesota,
mg
ps - you guys should see the awesome trails i rode with jason this morning... i love minneapolis!
where oh where did you ride? theo wirth? mmmm theo wirth! what are you doing in mpls...again? one more reader and you have a new all-time high...get it...high...ahahahahahcoughcough...
lol... i forgot the name of the park, but it's a new trail west and a bit south from apple valley (or leb). it's essentially a big lollipop -- about two miles out to the loop, with a roughly seven mile loop.
i'm up here for a writers conference, but jason the butcher took the day off from making salsa and we met up for an early morning rippfest. it was freaking awesome. the bikes we were riding absolutely gobbled up that trail. 29ers rule everywhere though. i shouldn't have been surprised they worked good there too.
cough, cough... whaddyatalkinbout butch? i'm not sure i get it?
hi? hi. howdy.
be careful with my gb mw this weekend. i need him back in one piece!
cheefrs,
mg
Murphy
It's a new trail network that opened a few months ago. It's tight, flowy, and fun with a few good obstacles.
MG, great to see you today. As always, thanks for the ride.
I think that makes fifteen......
we just keeping getting higher...numerically
Ah yes, Murphy... It was all double-track when I lived there. Sounds like its ohpurdygood now though!
Murphy... That's it. I won't forget it again. I certainly won't forget that primo singletrack, awesome dirt, or the super stylish riding of my personal guide.
Thank you Jason!! Riding with you was the absolute highlight of my time here in the Minneapolis area, and the tips you gave me on navigating the city have paid off repeatedly. I just took my client to the airport and did it without the assistance of a map!! WOOHOO!
... sometimes it's the little things, 'eh? Thanks again Jason.
I should post something new so we can start the counter over, 'eh? I think I'm number 18. That might be a Dirtblog record!
Have a safe and super weekend, y'all!! I'll be back in Nebraska tonight, and definitely want to get maximum... MAXIMUM saddle time in Sunday. Get a hold of me if you're in for some long ridin'.
Cheers,
MG
