Anyone recognize this park???

Screen shot courtesy of Google Earth.

Here's where I rode Friday -- Lebanon Hills in the south Minneapolis area. I know Butch and Sieler always said I'd like Leb, and after rippin' it with Jason from Salsa Cycles (it's his 'local'), I have to say they're 100-percent right. Leb kicks ass!

The Minneapolis area has a ton of singletrack options within easy reach. I like options...

Happy Monday!

If it's twisty, I'd bet I'd like it.

Google Earth rocks.

I mountain bike around the lakes in MN myself.

oh hell yeah! lebanon went from no singletrack to 100% singletrack in a matter of a few years. the trail has a number of distinct personalities, from tight and twisty to fast, flowing sweetness. i love that trail and miss it dearly! its semmingly custom built for a singlespeed too. and, you can make a super-epic by riding from mpls-proper or west bloomington, through the river bottoms to leb. leb and theo wirth top the list in the metro. damn i miss riding leb with s-house! glad you finally got to ride there...

thanks butch. i bet that 'epic' you detail is just that.

i learned while i was there that a good deal of the dos niner's development took place at leb. and after riding one of the new orange dos' up there, i have to say you can tell. that bike is just telepathic through leb's singletrack!

cheers,
