... a good time was had by all. we ate, drank, told stories and made merry. it was good.
i was surprised at the lack of turnout by folks from lincoln. it was the one disappointing aspect of the night. the bonsalls, dave and em, altern8 (and family), showen and a few others represented, along with myself.
and troy won the kona. lucky sucker. i wanted that thing! but congratulations troy. i bet that thing will make an awesome polo ride!
cheers,

Thanks mg. Didn't get a chance to try it at polo yet. Have to make a few changes (gearing & bars). That thing is so smooth on the paved trails though with them big tires. I may end up throwing a rack on it and make it my commuter. Almost had an over the bars last night while going over a curb. Went to pull up on the bars and accidently kicked the pedals back a little. Not a good idea with a kick brake.
lol. i can almost picture that. not pretty...
with a bar/gearing swap, you could rip it off-road on that thing. there's lots of guys who do, in fact. you probably know that already tho...
I've decided to make it a fixed gear 29er. I put a pic up on my blog of what I've done so far. It's kind of fugly though.
Cheers
nice... that'll be a fun ride. enjoy!
