More Spider 29er pics -- from DirtDad on MTBR.com

This finish is called "works," as it's not really a finish at all -- it's just the raw frame.

Look at the rear triangle! I wonder how long one of those things takes to weld-up?

... and speaking of welds. This aren't just welds, they're art!

And finally, the headtube... After seeing this finish, I'm glad I ordered the "stealth" paintjob instead.

By December I'll probably be just about mental with anticipation of the frame's arrival, and you'll likely be sick of me posting pics of everyone else's Spider 29 frames... In the words of Tom Petty, "the waiting is the hardest part."

It's raining outside, and it's raining at Indain Caves too... I wonder how much it'll have to rain before they cancel the race Saturday? I hope we don't get to that point -- I'm jonesin' to race!

That's gonna be a dope-ass bike. What size you gettin'?

thanks cornbread. i'm getting a large, which is a 24.8-inch effective top tube.

Do they make an XL? If so, you should get an XL so I can ride it too. :)

they do make an xl, but you'll have to get that one for yourself. it's a certifiable jumbotron-sized bike -- 25.75 inch top tube and a 22.5 inch seattube -- it'd be big enough for you!
