Introducing Selma -- Salsa's Super Single 29er

Meet Selma, the hottest new mamasita in Salsa's 2009 line-up. Introduced today at the Interbike trade show in Las Vegas, Selma is a Bushnell EBB-equipped version of the Mamasita 29-inch scandium/carbon hardtail frame. This makes it the lightest, smoothest riding, quickest handling singlespeed 29er in Salsa's line-up, and for racers or those simply looking to tear it up on 1FG, Selma's equipped to rip.

Guitar Ted just posted a great sneak preview ride review of the Selma on TwentyNineInches.com, so be sure to check that out, pronto. Also, you can learn more about Selma, and all of Salsa's 2009 line-up on their Website.

I know I dig the Mamasita, so this one should be fast for the SS crowd. Myself I'll probably/hope to say goodbye to my Mamasita in the future to make room for a Big Mama. Not that I don't love the Mamasita, but I gotz to go with what my style of riding/racing needs. So many choice coming out of Salsa Land this year. Hell I STILL want a La Cruz and I can't pull the trigger with all the other stuff! Plus the new Dos is the sweetest lookin one yet! Curse you Salsa!! HA!

LOL... Funny how the sweeter the bikes get, the harder it gets to choose how to spend your hard-earned cash, 'eh Jason?! It's a good problem to have, I suppose, but a tough one nonetheless. I'm with ya' on the Big Mama though. There's one of those in my future for sure. We'll see on the new Dos. It sure does look swank in silver...

...Damn, you're right. That's not even counting the Fargo or the Pistola or the Selma or the Podio or the ...

You and Selma would get along well... I suspect they'll be getting a lot of racing resumes out at Interbike this week because of that bike. You're gonna' have to ask really, really nicely... with sugar on top.

... and I'm not the one you need to ask (though I'll always put in a great word for ya' buddy).

MG: Hey man, thanks for that link. I tell ya, it's awesome having folks like you giving me some support. Thanks Bro!

I'm tired and ready ta come home. This place is totally off the hook. Makes me appreciate that gravel solitude, or woodsie quietness even more.

As for Salsa, yeah.....what's not to like, really. I want one of each too!
