i was actually riding my sister's trek 930 in that crossed-up jump pic. i'd already nailed the rear rim hard enough to need replacement earlier in the ride, so i figured i could go big on the x-ups without fear of making it worse.
I saw you clear one of the poles in the parking lot at Manawa Saturday as I was leaving. My buddy and I were pretty impressed. I was the guy in the orange Element. Looked like you guys had a great time.

yeah i'm a bad brother i guess. i ended up sending her a sweet white industries wheel to replace the one i toasted. it was a fair trade.
laura was actually the original owner of that bike. my sister inherited it in 1997, when laura got a new bike (another 930, which we still have).
